Praxinoscope

a Praxinoscope is an image that makes a short animation.

The Praxinoscopelooks a very fun toy at it's time. these days most kids wouldnt pay attention to these toys because of our technology such as video games cell phons and computers no one pays attention to old toys.

barbara kruger

this image, really cought my attention, it's simple but what i lik more is the message, it shows a man looking like he is yelling, and the quote says, "how dare you not be me" i really lik connecting to this because in a way shows pepel are forced to be the same because poeple are afriad of change. So everyone in the world just wants to be he same as one another.

flick book

My CyberARTS teacher asked me to create a flick book.

A flick book is basicly a bunch of pages put together and they make a moving image.

I created a heart that has wings the eventually turns ino one heart. I found this experience very difficult since i couldnt follow the same design of the object for all the plages and making lttle changes, but ti was a great experience.

Fashion TrendSetters

My cyber arts teacher ask to go on FashionTrendSetter.com and look at the colours that are in style.

The colours that are in fo sprinf 2008 are the followin: Golden Olive, Spring Crocus, Rococco Red, Pink Mist, Croissant, Freesia, Cantaloupe, Daiquiri Green, Snorkel Blue, and Silver Gray. I like most of these colours but my 3 favourite are, Croissant, Daiquiri Green, and Silver Gray, because these colours i wouldnt id wearing, but other colours on the list would make me a bit emberassed of wearing them.

As a designer i need to adjust to change in everything and updat myself to the newest trends no mtter how weird i may think they are.

posting chess piece

This is a photograph of the image i drew in CyberARTS, my teacher has asked me to take a close look at it's qualities it includes.

My design includes the following; line, value, movement, rhythm and pattern. Some of the lines used in my painting include s-curve, sharply curvy, think, and interupted lines. The value in my illustration goes from light to dark, in a variety of shades, but all lines are not intense in black. I've tried getting the viewer to follow a pattern, which goes from the chess piece and all the way to the end of the of the illustration, my painting isn't very strong on this alement in the sense that when the viewer looks at the illustration they will not pay much attention to the illustration because of the fact that the pattern goes off the page. Some areas in the background give the illustration lifebecause some of shapes look 3-dimentional which i am satesfied with.

Bierstadt, "The Rocky Mountains,"

I was looking at an artboook, and this painting had really caught my eye. i think i literally fell in love with it. I have really liked it becuase i just love mountain images and waterfall images. I decided to take a look at it's qualities.

Qualities of design;
Imitationalism
In an Imitationalism point of view, this painting really fits into this quality, because its literal quality is stunning. this painting is based on, and its detail is so accurate that it makes you feel like you are actually there.

Emotionalism
This piece of art makes me feel happy. calm, and peaceful. When i look at this painting, i feel flawless and very calm like as if I'm at a calm and peaceful place, where i cant be bothered by anything. This painting makes me feel like the whole world is in peace.

Formalism
The formalism in this painting that is easy to see is it's balance, this painting is very asymmetrical. The painting itseft has has a variety of patterns and lines, which to me makes the painting more "lifelike".

CyberARTS at LCI

In my school, i am in a program called CyberARTS,

"The CyberARTS curriculum is designed to maximize student potential and achievement through a variety of expanded opportunities."

For the last 2 weeks I've been in CyberARTS, i have learn a lot of skills and i believe i have improved very much in my art work.

hopefully, I will be having CyberARTs for all my high school years. as i grow older i will improve over the years and hopefully my blog readers will be able to see that.

My CyberARTS teachers have asked me to create a blog so i can talk about art in different ways, whether it's my art or other artists' art. I am required to post weakly entries on my online blog.

So, starting this week i hope you enjoy reading my blog!
